eBay..AdCommerce,PPC,Hustles,Best Match?
Hi Ed WeBBers,
So what’s the ‘innovation’ that can help you grow your eBay sales and profits?
You may have heard of it. Then again, you may not have done…
It’s called ‘AdCommerce’.
Ed….just get on with it..
Shut it…Doris your timing is like a balaclava in summer?
Looks like a ram raider..
ANYROAD..HERE WE GO..
It was first released in around March this year.
What it’s all about: if you look on plenty of eBay pages nowadays, you can see some ‘adverts’ at the very BOTTOM of the page.
Just go into any category, and where the usual listings are, go right to the bottom and you’ll probably see them.
They don’t appear on EVERY page…and it will depend on your visitor behaviour I think…but they are there.
Somewhere.
YOU can run one of these adverts and you get charged per ‘click’.
A bit like Google.
So, anytime someone clicks on the advert you’re running, you get charged a set figure.
(Often around 10p or so, although that varies on the category and position you choose).
The advantages?
You can get a lot of traffic to your listings this way.
You can bid in two ways. Firstly, by ‘keyword’.
So, if someone types in ‘diet’ and you’re selling a diet product, then your advert can appear.
Secondly, you can bid by category – so if someone is looking in a certain category, you can bid to appear in that category.
Both ‘ways’ can be valid.
And since you only pay by click, you’re only really bidding for qualified traffic.
This can work very well IF you have a hot listing/product which has proven itself to be a good seller.
If you combine this tactic with the others,I’ve mentioned before about using and getting the most out of ‘Best Match’, then you can be well on your way to getting that product selling regular with a system of qualified traffic and not tyre kickers!
Anyway, eBay gossip as brought on a chill moment in the form of a book read..
“SQUATTERS LUCK: One open window, two Dobermans and a Rottweiler”
by Justin Savaged .
WEY HEY. peeps don`t miss my next mission when i will be getting my teeth into why its not always a good idea to sell your wares cheaply on the good ole bay, i mean even if you sell clothes once owned by a squatter..AHEM?
Alas poor Ed we love him well, but with the act of a tear jerk tis TTFN….Ed.
