eBay..Christmas Shopping Listing Ideas Last Minute Sales?
Hi Ed WeBBers,
If you’ve logged onto eBay.co.uk recently, you might have noticed something…
You might know that eBay now offer a ‘Daily Deal’ – basically a hot offer on a hit product
from a specific seller.
Well…on the home-page nowadays, they’ve switched the text from ‘Daily Deal’ to…
‘Christmas Deals’.
Ed….i have bought you them Harrods v-neck socks you fancied!
Shut it…DORIS, people know you need braces to hold them up, and that they need ironing?
AHEM, AHH WELL..
On with the gig..
Of course, it’s the same thing – they basically promote a specific product seller from a specific seller, at a low, low price…
The only real difference is that they have re-labeled ‘Daily Deal’ to ‘Chistmas Deals’.
Why the change?
Well, if you’d care to take a look at the date on your current timepiece, you’ll note that it’s now only around 2 weeks to Christmas.
Blimey. Gosh, Shock, Horror!
Yes, it has come around even more quickly than last year – as it does every year.
OK, so let me tell you what I’m getting at here today…
You see, eBay have ‘cleverly’ (well, OK, it ain’t that smart) re-labelled their offers in line with the coming season…
And, you can do this too.
In short, if you run an offer/product right now – how can you tailor it to the current season?
“We have a Christmas Special on this item for the next 14 days.”
“We have a 2-for-1 Christmas special on this
for the next week.”
“We have free Christmas shipping if you order
more than one!”
You get the idea.
By ‘Christmas-ifying’ your offerings…your products… your items and ‘propositions’, you may well be able to improve your results.
It won’t cost you a penny extra.
But it may well improve your results.
I like those odds…even more than succulent turkey with a side of cranberry!
So…
how can YOU ‘Christmas-ify’ your offerings over the coming two weeks?
And can you?
Sure you can – everyone can apply this tactic in some way.
So – how are YOU going to apply it?
Maybe worth a few thoughts over the NEXT DAY OR TWO…
MEANWHILE, as i baste my turkey, (SHUT IT DORIS), it`s time for a book read it`s a tips book on whooing your partner called…
“You don’t sweat much for a fat lass do you” By C Alories.
