This post was as you may well know scheduled, for the last gig ,but when you are abducted by the Secret Service and integrated for hours as to why this blog is so popular the memory lost incurred from the torture makes it understandable…don’t you think?

Ed….you liar, you was promoting Ray Johnson`s “Clickbank Stealth”, mind you it must be the in thing selling covert fighter jets on Clickbank?

DORIS…Ray just happen to send me the affiliate link by chance and before i knew it , it fell on my blog with other mystery text surrounding it, god knows how that happened?……….AHEM!

ANYWAY LETS eBay ..

Now last week, a not-very-well-publicised list appeared in the business magazine ‘Forbes’…

It was simple: it was a list of the ‘Top 25 Web Celebrities’.

And do you know claimed the top spot?

It was a chap called PEREZ HILTON.

(Not his real name, unsurprisingly!)

He’s a celebrity blogger who runs…

you guessed it…perezhilton.com

The site gets mill-yuns of visitors every month…and, it’s all about trashy celebrities!

Oh. Well.

I suppose that if there’s a market for this ‘old toffee’, you can always be sure that the entrepreneur will be there to hand them the valium.

But I digress.

You see, the fact that Perez Hilton is the Web’s number one celebrity just confirms what a celebrity-driven World we live in.

Witness the papers in the last week or so – where all they’ve been talking about is a straightforward extra-martial affair.

EXCEPT: it’s a ‘celebrity’ affair.

The papers have discussed nothing else, like this is the most important thing on the planet.

And it IS – to them. Because they know it will sell papers.

Hand ‘em the valium again…

Now, you’re probably NOT going to land a celebrity to promote your products on eBay.

But you might be able to do a watered-down version for your own gains…

What do I mean?

Maybe you can go down a ‘tier’ and get a ‘niche’ or ‘local’ celeb to help…

For example: if you sell lawnmowers -

maybe you can get your local gardener… a guy who has been ‘in the trade’ for the last 30 years – to help you out.

He could endorse, recommend and generally ‘big up’ what you’re selling – and it would be very easy to do this.

The result: differentiation over your competition and increased sales.

Could be worth thinking about…

This is a very powerful ‘method’ that could substantially increase sales…and without a whole lot of effort or cost either, it`s powerful food for thought, when are you going to implement it into your eBaying?

You know sometimes people fight to promote my efforts…

NOT MENTIONING ANY NAMES, but why the tights?
