Hi ,

First of all thank you for visiting my blog, and at this point in time i think an introduction is in order!

As my domain name says my name is John Edwards also known as "Ed", i`m a 44 year old man who`s  still wondering why i never unleashed myself to the internet before, could it be the medication or the fact i`ve just  acquired a PC ?

Anyway i reside in the Northwest of England in a small town called Great Harwood near Blackburn Lancashire, where i`ve lived for 17 years but that`s only because i`ve wallpapered over the front door and now can`t find it !

I do however have 2 hobbies that i love to divulge in in my past time and with 1 come`s great responsibility, the first is the study of the native American indian tribes in fact their complete history through books and documentaries!

The second is the husbandry of fresh water turtles of which i have extensive knowledge in the proper housing and keeping of these wonderful semi aquatic creatures and might i add not of the Ninja variety before anyone posts comments as to have i had a drop kick yet!

I have two Red eared terrapins called Harry and Sally also two Painted turtles called tom and jerry, and finally but not least an asian box turtle called Victor and an American three toed box turtle called Georgia , and i have been a keeper of these for the last 16 years so you can see i have a lot of  experience of which i`m proud to say is completely self taught!

Finally on that note if any of my readers wishes to leave a comment question on this post as regards to any issues concerning the proper keeping of freshwater/box turtles please feel free ask and comment on this or any matter concerning this post ! thanks for your time and interest!
