Google adWords how to use PPC or Pay Per Click paid Advertising Successfully?
Hi Ed WeBBers,
Tis me here with the first of many, reports on how you can start using PPC advertising for your business needs and make some amazing CASHOLA in the process, but for this session lets ease on in there with an introdution to PCC via my favourite search engine media GOOGLE and their advertising platform "adWords"!
Heres a screengrab to give you an overview of what i am talking about..

These are known as PPC ads which is an abrieviation of Pay Per Click..
Ed…. what is the point of buying a click when i can use my fingers for free?
WELL…Doris, lately i have heard there is a membership site for idiots why don`t you just go and join that CLICK!
Ya know, she trys me…
Where was i, ah yes.
NOW the reason why these advertisements are called Pay Per Click is this ,when you go through the process of signing up to Google to advertise what ever it is you want to advertise, you have to submit what is known as "Keywords" they are the words or phrases that have THE closest relevance and relation to your product or promotion!
Now the more popular and competitive your chosen relevant keyword phrase or word is the more you are charged everytime a prospect clicks on your advertisement, which means you only PAY Google when and only when your ad is clicked, hence PAY PER CLICK.
This payment system is the same across the board for all search engine paid for advertising, BUT it is a minefield of HIGH potential money loss if your complete sales/promotion advertising machine is not set up correctly, and the foundation of setting up a GOOD advertising campaign on Google adWords is RELEVANCE!
Relevance is THE key to any and all advertising campaigns especially on Google adWords, for example if you where selling "Dog collars", you would pay for at least 0ne keyword or phase like "leather dog collar"and lets say that keyword phase costs 25c per click ,this would mean everytime somebody clicked on your ad you would pay Google 25c!
Also to add to this you can set a daily budget, for example "Leather dog collar" 25c per click, $10 per day, so thats 4 prospects per dollar, 40 prospects per day will be allowed by Google to view your ad as soon as 40 people have clicked your ad and taken through to your website your ad is taken down for the day, then resumed the following day for another 40 prospects, however it all depends on your CPC (cost per click) and the daily budget you set on your ad campaign, but i`m sure you get the picture!
BUT, obviously you would then only profit if the prospect then went on to buy your dog collar, BUT the chances are they would because to FIND your dog collar that is for sale they would type into Googles search bar the keyword phrase that you have paid Google for to show your dog collar ad on that page selling dog collars that the prospect is specificilly after BUYING!
Now can you see why RELEVANCE is the KEY to SUCCESS on Google adWords, but this is the basics and the tip of the Google adWords iceberg, and if not implemented CORRECTLY can sink your budding business like the Titanic!
I will cover PPC in more detail on future reports..
