Well this post will be the last on this series of turtle pad building, its sad i know and we all knew this time would come, we`ve come far together forming this common bond and…

RE-CAP!…..Drum Roll Maestro!
#First we built an attractive stand and canopy to house the tank!
#Then we aquired and prepared the tank! #Then we added decor for effect!
#the lighting was installed! #We added the heater! #on our last visit we installed a filter!
So peeps, in this post i would like to, discuss the basking platform, which would be be placed under the spotlight we installed previous for the turtles to bask under!
Now in the wilds of the good ole USA where these turtles come from they can can be seen on a hot day basking on logs and rocks catching the suns rays to regenerate their energy levels and to raise the body temperature, as they are cold blooded!
Now to keep these turtles well and happy in their enviroment that you have provided, a well constructed platform under the spotlight provides a dry resting area to bask and dry out a little, lets look at a pic of one of mine!
Lets now see another pic of the way it`s all held up in the tank!
All this is constructed of 10mm plate glass for strength, all together it comprises of six different glass components cut to size then constructed together , giving your turtle , like our Robbing Jerry somewhere to rest out of water and SUNBATHE!
