We all know that the lifeblood to any website is traffic…and no i don`t mean you jump in a taxi and drive to a URL!

Now there are of course many successful ways to drive this traffic to our websites, like article marketing, forum posts, email marketing, social networking, and not forgetting the potentially expensive format PPC!

However personally i tend to like the kind of off the radar ones, the type a lot of other marketers do not use, but bring home the bacon so to speak for the more savvy marketers out there as a nice bonus income stream.

Ed…You keep mentioning income streams you`re not selling that bottled water again from that peat bog near the chemical plant are you?

NOW, the method i am about to share with you is no exception, and its one of my favourites, it involves basically taking a video from web 2.0 sites like “You Tube” “Metacafe” and “Google Video”, by coping the video URL!

Then taking it to a FREE software site and editing the video with your affiliate link to say a Clickbank product…

Here’s the concept in more detail…

You would have to choose a relevant  video for your needs , for example say you found an eBay based product that holds a good gravity on Clickbank and the commission is inviting at 50-60%,which obviously  holds a good  chance of success with a high commission rate, so you acquire your affiliate link and you`re set to rock..

You would then find a video for example on You Tube that presents a way of making money on eBay, now choose one that gets a lot of views per day,that seems to be popular this information can be found on the video webpage.

Of course you won`t get any where near the amount of hits per day that the video gets on You Tube but that’s because your site isn`t going to get the same traffic as You Tube does, but in practice you have picked a good quality video that catches the attention  of your visitor proven from the You Tube stats, just on a lesser scale that’s the point!

Then you copy the video URL not the embed link, go to a FREE video editing website called Bubbleply.com , you paste the video link in the video appears and you go through the editing process of adding your clickbank affiliate link onto the video set the time you want it to pop during the video?

Then hey presto your affiliate link pops on the video grabbing the viewers attention to click through  to your affiliate sales page, potentially grabbing the sale?
