Your blog will be your brand, and your brand is your name, so it is only logical to have your name as the domain name to your wordpress blog, now on the internet you will notice that most domain names end in “.com” this is the most commonly used domain name extension on the net, which means your name will be better remembered as a .com..

Using your name as the domain name is very powerful as i have just said, and all the search engines like Google just love lurvvvvvvve blogs..

WHY?..

Because blogs are content rich with information, and Google and co are in the information business, and the more quality information your blog provides in certain areas EG eBay, blogging, traffic generation, dog training, weightloss, you get the picture!

The more you and your blog will recognised as an authority in the post content you provide, so say your content is all about weight loss, your blog will be placed FREE on Google’s weight loss information results offered up to their browsing searchers, which also makes this traffic targeted to your blog!

NOW, what if the domain name to your weight loss blog was your NAME, can you see how you are pushing your brand name in the weight loss niche as an authority figure, that is how you get your name known in your chosen niche!
