Creating your own product is SO SO powerful…WHY? Because like anything in sales..there is always going to be *competition*…in YOUR MARKET…but you can *differentiate* YOUR targeted offer from the rest…I mean who else is going to selling something that YOU and only YOU has created…

…there can be NO *comparison on price point*…again theres ONLY YOU selling it!

Secondly…when you create YOUR OWN product…you have FULL CONTROL over it's marketing and profits…in other words with THE CORRECT marketing you can stabilize the sales as a re-curring regular Income!

YES…and that right there would be the foundation built SOLID for your OWN BUSINESS online…SO it's only goes to say that when that is in place you simply…look at at this as a numbers game…in other words…

• WASH…
• RINSE…
• REPEAT…the process!

Create more and more *unique products* in YOUR niche market…and market them on YOUR BLOG…{business hub}….banners…blog posts…forum sigs…Articles…affiliates….ETC…there are products out there that WILL teach you marketing…ERM…thats right a *solution* to YOUR problem…are we seeing the BIG CHEESE on this people…

Of course this is a basic *one shot* sales model BUT…it's ALL about creating that foundation as an expert in your given niche through YOUR UNIQUE PRODUCTS….creating sales on a small to start basis…FOR EACH product you produce there after…CAN YOU SEE why it's a *numbers game*….NOW?

Let's look at a *prime example*….

Phil…as the norm plays a *blinding electric guitar*…and he does OK making pocket change teaching local people here and there…just HOW TO play *ELECTRIC GUITAR*…{his niche}!

Phil wants to ramp up his Income…teaching people who want HIS SOLUTION on how to PLAY ELECTRIC GUITAR…but how?

WELL..what Phil could do here is…find other *experts* say in targeted online forums…that play *electric guitar* and approach them in with an Idea on creating a product as a JOINT VENTURE…for example…Phil and the other go on SKYPE in an Interview style *live chat* and record the session using software like *Pamela for Skype*….

…they could then edit and create an mp3 say 1 hour long…TWO ELECTRIC EXPERTS…giving away some really great tips between them on HOW TO  play certain chords…the best amps to buy…the best guitars to buy…ETC in their opinions AS EXPERTS…

Then sell it as a *solution* in*physical product* formatI.E cd-rom…to the masses on eBay…split the profits 50-50?

I mean how many people would love to learn an hobby like that?

AND that is HOW SIMPLE it is to create a product to sell online…can you actually Imagine the possibility of just HOW MUCH $$$$$$ you could make online from YOUR *OWN* WEBSITES as well as eBay selling YOUR OWN in-demand UNIQUE product that offers a *solution* to a problem OR answer to their question/

OUCH Ed that thought is SO LUVLYYYYYYYYYYYY it hurts…

You only need to source *the Inventory*….

• CD-ROM disks…
• DVD cases…
• Jiffy Bags…

for around 200 of ALL of this would cost you say…£70/$140…BUT you could potentially make £1'400/$2'800 *net pocket profit* IF you sold ALL 200 on eBay…seriously…it's VERY POSSIBLE!!!!

In the next month OR two I am due to sell a product of mine on eBay…

Of course I don't know HOW successful this will be until I run trials on the sales BUT I do know that it will be another re-curring Income…another string to my bow so to speak…starting with it's *marketing on eBay*…what other platform online provide any seller with HOT targeted buying traffic to YOUR UNIQUE *Information product* offer than eBay…even Amazon…doesn't offer a marketplace for *Information products* as powerful as this!

Why eBay Origins Are a Prime Example to Online Success?

You know eBay sprang from a modest, even comical beginning.

And what I mean by that is…it lacked the glamour of an enterpreneurial firm and high flying venture we so commonly seen in other iconic corporations that are brainchilds of the dot-com dreamworld.

Instead, eBay can be traced back to a simple webpage and a broken laser pointer?

It was September, 1995, when a 28-year-old software developer called Pierre Omidyar, who had previous job working with Claris developing software on contract for Apple computers, settled down to write the html code that would eventually evolve into the titan we know today as eBay.

Back then the website was known as AuctionWeb and hosted on the same server as Pierre's page about the ebola virus!

The WEBPAGE began showing the listing of a *single broken laser pointer*…the VERY FIRST product as such to be listed on the site!

Oringinally however Pierre had intended the listing to be a test more than a serious offer to sell at auction, AND was shocked when the item sold for $14.83. Pierre knew that he'd created something HUGE…SO as he contacted the winning bidder to ask if he understood that the pointer was broken.

"I'm a collector of broken laser pointers," was the reply.

AuctionWeb soon took over Pierre's entire domain, www.ebay.com, short for Echo Bay, which was the name of his consulting firm at the time.

By 1996 the company was large enough to require the skills of a Stanford MBA called Jeffrey Skoll, who piped an already profitable ship. Meg Whitman, a Harvard graduate, followed soon after as president and CEO, along with a solid business team under whose leadership and organisation grew eBay rapidly…

…starting out from collectibles into nearly every type of niche market you can think of.

eBay's vision for success transformed from one of commerce—buying and selling things—to a platform of connecting people around the world together.

With exponential growth and strong branding, eBay thrived and started to dominate, eclipsing many of the other so-called auction sites that dotted the dot-com bubble. By the time eBay had gone public in 1998, both Omidyar and Skoll were billionaires….IS THAT ANY WONDER?

Can you see my point here peeps…if one product…{broken at that} can manifest and catapult into an online ICONIC business titan…what can an *average Joe* like you achieve with a little imagination…

First of ALL you want and need to make sure the item you are shipping out to the customer arrives at their door in *one piece*!…I mean the customer bought that *porcelain*  collectors piece…they're in buying mode they can't wait for it to come it's *limited edition* too…

DANG….imagine the look on the *customers face* when he/she opens up the poorly wrapped parcel only to find the *SWAROVSKI…Crystal vase is shattered into a thousand pieces…with an IMMEDIATE notice to the fact the culprit was YOUR POOR packaging skills!

NOW… I want draw your attention to the TRUE scale of damage that has REALLY occurred HERE?

You see…eBay selling to success is a numbers game…HOWEVER it's also a numbers game to DOOM…let's look at why you have potentially set the ball rolling for the demize of your eBay business?

Lets look the transaction between you THE SELLER and Alice THE BUYER!

"Alice has always wanted a Swarovski crystal cut vase…and was curious as to whether Or not she can find one on eBay…knowing that if one is available It will most probably be the best…that is the cheapest option?  SO Alice visits eBay to look….

…and she types her search term for the *limited edition* vase into eBays search engine as soon as the search results  show…YOUR OFFER…whetting her appetite…she becomes a *BUYER*!

This is where YOU should respect that and TREAT HER with a *GREAT SERVICE*!

The first port of call towards that loyalty and quality of service for Alice…should be YOUR *PACKAGING*…of the vase…remember it's something Alice has a PASSION for…which creates an anticipation and excitement at the thought of it arriving on her doorstep to finally hold and admire…so ALL this time while shes waiting for it's she develops that…*I can't wait for it to arrive*…emotion!

BUT…as I said earlier…the vase arrived shattered…and to make the situation worse…Alice noticed that the packaging WAS POOR…now Alice's *delight* turns to *disappointment* a bad feeling that she noticed was CAUSED by you the eBay seller with a SLOPPY ATTITUDE and *service* towards her!

NOW…this is where the numbers turn against you…Alice has decided to slap you with a *NEGATIVE FEEDBACK*…which then goes against you on your business because that will start to affect you on your D.S.R {Detailed Sellers Ratings}….as far as your *shipping and Packaging* goes…and you have nothing but a…

NOW first of all I want to say that *back in the day* of OFFLINE trading da high st…*accessories* was looked upon as just *a non-necessity…in other people would buy a MAIN PRODUCT of some kind but *the accessories to it wasn’t *really needed*…SO it wasn’t purchased…CAPEESH!

HOWEVER NOW…CIRCA 2012…things have kinda *evolved* accessories are more of an *appetite whetting* commodity and marketed to THE BUYER as a necessity TO HAVE SO MUCH SO that ALL the up and coming generations of buyers from now on WILL WANT them to either compliment something they have just bought like say an iPod…

• Different colored cases!
  
• Car cassette charge adaptor!
  
• Windscreen and air vent mount!
  
• iPod speakers!
  
• Extension leads!
  

The list goes on…can you see HOW you can start and build a successful eBay business selling a *compliment* to an already MASSIVELY in-demand MAIN PRODUCT?

People just do not look at *accessories* this way they just look at an mp3 player case as *the customer won’t bother JUST YET with them* attitude!

INSTEAD OF…*hell yeah…I’m gonna sell them accessories as a business in it’s own right because I know that ALL the dudes that JUST PURCHASED the iPod OR whatever in-demand they have just bought WILL want to look straight away for THE ACCESSORIES to it…

…tell me I’m wrong how many times have YOU bought something that a massive amount of other people ARE buying and looked to see if you can get your hands X accessory to perfectly compliment it STRAIGHT AFTER you just paid with a view to SPENDING MORE money on it AS SOON AS YOU SEE IT?

YEP me too…you become  engrossed in the *psychology* of *BUYING GENERATES THAT FEEL GOOD* factor…and that in a nutshell is WHY sellers on eBay that sell THE RIGHT accessories are smiling ALL the way to the bank…

...because YOU as a  seller have made them feel *excited* and *happy* through a purchase of an *accessory* they most probably DIDN’T EVEN NEED*?

That right there is WHY ALL these little widget extras sell… they enhance *the spending pleasure* of the buyer…BEYOND the *initial* excitement they got from buying the MAIN PRODUCT in the first place..

Of course there is another train of thought as regards another *demographic* of buyer and that is to sell *accessories* that for example ALL the VAIN teenagers want like BODY JEWELRY…

• eye-bars…{some men like these too}!
  
• earrings…{again women and men like these too}!
  
• Finger rings…(ALL TEENS AND ADULTS…BOTH SEXES}!

The list goes on…a great deal of these niche products as far as the teens go are IMPULSE BUYS….teenagers have that *magpie* syndrome they see a sparkling shiny object THEY BUY IT!

Can you now see HOW accessories are now a MAIN PRODUCT in their own right to start and build an eBay business with?
